parenchyma-sparing pancreatectomy for benign pancreatic neoplasms

چکیده
context the current literature suggests that minimally invasive surgery is associated with faster recovery and less morbidity than open surgery. parenchyma-sparing pancreatectomy is minimally invasive surgery, including enucleation, inferior head pancreatectomy, spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy, and central pancreatectomy, combined pancreatectomy such as inferior head pancreatectomy plus spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy, and subtotal distal pancreatectomy (spleen-preserving). evidence acquisition parenchyma-sparing pancreatic resection is mainly used for benign neoplasms, including intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (ipmn), mucinous cystadenoma, serous cystadenoma, and small sized neuroendocrine tumors including insulinoma. results parenchyma-sparing pancreatectomy can be applied for benign pancreatic lesions. assistance with pancreatic stenting and/or laparoscopy is recommended in some cases to prevent from complications. conclusions recent advancements of surgical techniques have allowed us to perform several types of parenchyma-sparing pancreatic resection.

At 4 weeks review, she had made a full recovery and was back to normal activity. CT images at 1 and 6 months following SPDP were compared with preoperative images to evaluate postoperative changes in vascular patency and to determine whether the analysed vessel was a native or collaterals that developed after surgery following the possible occlusion of the original spleenic artery or vein. متن کاملLaparoscopic distal pancreatectomy for benign or borderline malignant pancreatic tumors.
BACKGROUND/AIMS Laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy (LDP) for benign conditions is increasingly performed. But, there are few limited studies about the outcomes of the laparoscopic surgery compared with open surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes of LDP and compare it to that of open distal pancreatectomy (ODP). MATERIALS AND METHODS From July 2007 to February 201...

Main bronchial reconstruction is anatomically suitable for benign main bronchial stenosis. But, it has been hardly recommended for operative mortality and morbidity. This study was aimed at providing validity and the proper clinical information of bronchoplasty for benign main bronchial stenosis by reviewing the results we obtained over the last ten years for main bronchial reconstruction opera...

AIM To describe the indications, technique and outcomes of the novel surgical procedure of duodenum and ventral pancreas preserving subtotal pancreatectomy (DVPPSP). METHODS Data collected retrospectively from 43 patients who underwent DVPPSP and TP between 2009 and 2015 in our single centre were analysed. For enrolment, only patients with low-grade pancreatic neoplasms, such as pancreatic ne...
